As many of you now know, Elin Searfoss is taking a health related leave of absence from the CNVC and her related duties. Unfortunately this also includes the Implementation Council.

We are sad about this, and fully support her in attending to her health and in spending time with her family. We will miss her energy and contribution greatly and hope to welcome her back in the future.

In the meantime, we have asked Elkie Deadman (Netherlands), if she would be willing to fill Elin’s place temporarily. Elkie was elected to Implementation Council by the Integration Council at the beginning of the year, but chose to step down at that time to focus on other projects. As a former Integration Council member she is already familiar with the New Future Plan, and this would allow Elkie to join quickly, which is critical to ImpC and to Implementation on the whole at this time. As we continue to expand the ImpC we still remain committed to increasing representation globally and among individuals who have had less access to participation than before.

Elkie has said ‘yes’ to our request. Because she values structured collaboration and inclusion for all, she has specifically mentioned that she is open to any on-boarding process the current ImpC deems necessary both now, and in the future; and that she is also fully committed to the Conflict Resolution and Feedback processes outlined in the New Future Plan.

Elkie has begun to contribute to the ImpC informally already - and has brought both inspiration and energy that is contributing to forward movement. Because we value integrity and openness to feedback we are open to hear from anyone in the broader community who has a strong objection to Elkie joining the ImpC on a temporary basis until Elin returns. Please use the feedback form here or contact <impc@cnvc.org>.

Warm wishes from Aimee, Jeyanthy, and Roxy.
